Home > Two more top 6 finishes for Jacob
Jacob Trueman-Marsden continued his top form in the Yorkshires by finishing 6th in both the Boys 9 yrs 200m Backstroke and 200m Freestyle events this past weekend.
On Saturday, Jacob swam his 200m Backstroke in 3:11:29 and on Sunday, swam the 200m Free in 2:58:51. Other SCSC swimmers on the weekend included Olivia Beavers, who finished 25th in the Girls 12 yrs 200m Breast in a time of 3:24:12 and 14th in the 100m Breast in a time of 1:29:80. Hope Middleton swam 1:35:12 in the Girls 12 yrs 100 Breast placing 27th, while Alex Crane rounded out the weekend’s performers with a 2:43:47 in the Boys 14 yrs 200 IM (24th) and 15th in the 100m Backstroke in a time of 1:16:88.
Congratulations to all these Yorkshire swimmers on their fine efforts. Good luck to all swimmers swimming in the final weekend of the championships to be held on the 20-21 March.
