In the Men’s event, the SCSC Green team (Nathan Kirby, Dan Field, Callum Hill & Tom Dyson) finished second while the Yellow Team (Chris Cooper, Richard Cooper, Sam Cooper & Alex Crane) came fourth. These were handicapped relays where winning times were based on swimming closest to the entry time and staggered starts were used. Well done to all relay teams for their efforts.

Overall, 46 swimmers represented SCSC with 59 Pbs swum. Leading the way for the boys were Richard Cooper, who was tops in his age group with four golds in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 100 Fly & 100 Breast and Dan Field, with five golden rings ( 50 Free, 100 Free, 50 Fly, 50 Breast & 100 Breast) & a bronze (200 Breast). Aaron Blake and Alex Crane each won five medals; Aaron won three silvers (50 Free, 100 Back & 100 Breast) and two bronze (50 Back & 50 Fly) while Alex finished with three golds (100 Free, 100 Back & 100 Breast) and two silvers (50 Free & 50 Back).

For the girls, Emily Nuttall finished with three golds (100 Free, 50 Back & 100 Back) and one silver (50 Free). A special congratulations to Emily Kemp, who was swimming in her first major competition at age 8. Emily won a gold (100 Breast) a silver (50 Breast) and two bronzes (50 Free & 100 Free). Well done to both Emilys!

Congraulations to Millie Quinn who won the Water Babies Event as the youngest to swim 25m.
